national Missionary ...
Our National Missionary program is designed for Mexican Christian men who are serving the Lord, desire to do more, but simply lack training and funds.
These candidates are recommended by pastors we work with or by our staff and students doing volunteer work with our project and outreach teams.
Once recommended, a candidate is asked to take a week to pray about entering the program before agreeing to proceed.
The applicant must then fill out an application, write out a testimony, get references and wait patiently.
Once accepted, the student signs an agreement committing to two years under the authority of Servant Senders. Monthly, they are given a calendar and follow the schedule set for them. They understand that this is an opportunity for them to further their education in many areas.  They also understand this is only for a period of time and the end goal is to have a ministry, with a way to support their family and ministry.

GOALS OF NATIONAL MISSIONARY PROGRAM

•    PARTNERSHIP – STATESIDE CHURCH OR INDIVIDUALS WITH NATIONAL MISSIONARY
•    BIBLICAL EDUCATION AND DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING
•    TRAIN FUTURE LEADERS, MISSIONARIES, DISCIPLESHIP TEACHERS TO REACH THEIR OWN PEOPLE
•   FOLLOW UP EVANGELISM WITH THE FAMILIES THAT RECEIVE NEW HOMES FROM THE MANY MINISTRIES THAT BUILD HOMES

Below is a sample schedule of a weekly program:

Monday  -  6 to 8 hour discipleship training class.
Tuesday  -  8 hours of adult education starting where they left off. (For many, that means starting at sixth grade or less.)
Wednesday  -  Fridays - work projects with teams or other ministries (learning to serve, work alongside, follow up discipleship, and learn new job skills for future use in supporting their ministry)
Saturday  -  outreach and evangelism to their assigned area, usually the neighborhood in which they live.
Sunday -  church attendance and involvement in worship, teaching, or fill in preaching.

We desire to see a partnership formed with the supporting church/individual, viewing the National Missionary as a missionary they have sent out. We hope the supporters will view this person and the ministry they develop, with the help of Servant Senders, as an outreach of their church.
The supporting party would be asked to sign an agreement of two years, knowing that this may be extended if both parties so desire.  A future option would be to send the National Missionary to another country to disciple, teach and raise up new ministries. (Arab countries are more receptive to Mexican Nationals, they blend easier, adapt to the life style easier and experience less difficulty than American missionaries do, just as one example.)
During this two year period, the supporting party would agree to send $450 per month to Servant Senders for the support of the student and his/her family while enrolled in the program. The supporting party agrees to pray daily for the student, program, opportunities to witness, growth of the student, their family, and the ministry they are developing as they learn.

•    When possible the supporting party will come to visit, meet their missionary, his/her family, see their progress and encourage them in their ministry and growth.
